Somehow I read a 100,000 words novel that I don’t really thing quite makes it in terms of characterisation. I just kept wincing when Derek called the Sheriff dad and when the Sheriff encouraged Derek to date his teenage son and protected Derek instead of Stiles (supposedly because Derek is more fucked up and vulnerable).
